The MTV Video Music Awards marks its 27th year this time around.
There is no host this year. The network opted to go sans host in 2004 and 2007 as well. During those presentations celebrities and musicians both presented awards and introduced musical acts.
The Video Music Awards, will be broadcast live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles this Sunday August 28 at 9/8 pm.
